Archaeoprepona licomedes has sparse occurrence throughout the year. In the central Amazon was recorded only in traps in the understory.

Adults feed on rotten fruits,can be observed sucking mud puddles

Feeding Caterpillars:

Host-plants for Archaeoprepona are recorded species of de Annonaceae, Convolvulaceae, Lauraceae, Sterculiaceae, Moraceae, Malpighiacea (Beccaloni et al. 2008).
