Papilio laothoe (Cramer, 1777)
Temenis laothoe occurs throughout the year, but is not abundant. At central Amazonia this species is only collected in traps placed in the canopy of forests. In southeastern Brazil, using the same methodology, T. laothoe can be collected in the canopy and in the understory (Silva et al. 2010)
About 7 subspecies are recorded in the Neotropics (Lamas, 2004). A wide variety of shapes and colors are showed by this species.

Adults feed on rotten fruits
