Natural History:
Like other members Morphinae, Caligo idomeneus inhabits the shaded understory of the forest. May appear throughout the year, but with moderate abundance llike abundance of Caligo teucer. The males are easily attracted to odors of fermenting fruit, while females rarely occur.
