Natural History:
The ventral surface of the wings show light brown color and is similar to another Pierella. The blue spots on the back are pronounced and easily recognized. Inhabits shaded understory and was frequently observed between August and September in forests bordering Purus river.

Adults can be seen sucking on vegetal material decomposing on the floor of the forest.
