Natural History:

Posttaygetis penelea is associated vegetation with bamboo (Guadua) which is the host- plant of the caterpillars. Can be found throughout the year and also in habitats with different vegetation as grassland and forest edges. Immature stages and biology of this species was described by Murray, 2003.
