Natural History:
Same happens in Archaeoprepona group, in central Amazonia there is Prepona group with species that are differentiated by the ventral surface of the wings. Males and females of Prepona dexamenus are captured in the forest canopy.

Adults feed on rotten fruits, mineral salts in puddles
