Natural History:

A species collected mainly in primary forest, less frequent in secondary forests, occasionally with swarms of army ants.

Distribution:
Brasil; México; Suriname; Venezuela
Feeding Adult:

Adults feed on flowers and animal excreta

Feeding Caterpillars:

The caterpillars are recorded on plants Miconia sp. (Melastomataceae) (Beccaloni et al. 2008).
