Natural History:

Tigridia is a monotypic genus and 10 subspecies are described from the Neotropics (Lamas, 2004). This species is common throughout the year. Can be collected in the forest canopy, but is prevalent in moist and shaded understory, where is observed in the trunk rested upside down.

Adults feed on fermented fruits and animal excreta
