Natural History:
Understory species, but not abundant. Recorded sparse occurrence throughout the year.
Furtado (2001) recorded the immature forms, following the development of eggs and larvae. The eggs are layed isolated and on the underside of the leaves. The life cycle was estimated to 74 days.
