Papilioninae

There are 140 neotropical species in 10 genera in the tribes Leptocircini, Troidini and Papilionini (Lamas, 2004).

The most Papilionidade are belong in the subfamily Papilioninae. This group are distributed widely with the greatest species richness in the tropics of the Old World (Scoble, 1992).
