Natural History:

In the genus Oleria 50 species are described in the Neotropics (Lamas 2004). These butterflies form a mimecry complex  involving other families of butterflies (Pieridae Nymphalidae, Riodinidae) and moths (Arctiidae) (Beccaloni, 1997).

These butterflies are graceful and flying gently. Is observed resting on  vegetation or flying  searching  flowers to feed.
