Natural History:

In the Amazon occurs a moth Castnia linus (Castinidae)  that mimics the butterflies of the genus Methona, show the same  color, shape and behavior (Otero & Marigo, 1992) occurs. Other moths of the Arctiidae are also part of the mimetic complex, as some species of Dysschema. See Beccaloni (1997).
